Where are the best places to meet guys on a college campus? Try class, clubs, mutual friends, and online dating sites, or check out an all-male campus.

Need some tips on how to meet college guys? For college girls, the easiest answer to this question might seem to be at college parties or bars. Unfortunately, this isn't always the best way to meet someone who's a good candidate for actual college dating and relationships. Men at college parties aren't always, well, looking for a serious girlfriend.

The trick to meeting college guys who are worth dating is to look in ordinary campus places, and preferably ones where alcohol isn't being served. Here are a few tips on where to look for college guys.

Meeting College Guys in Class

One of the easiest ways to meet people in college is in class. After all, this is a great way to find people who have similar interests. This also leads to great built-in conversation starters, such as, "Hey, you're in my literature class, right? Did you have any idea of what the professor was talking about today?"

Of course, some classes attract more guys than others. While it would be pretty pathetic for a student to choose her schedule based on how many guys might be on the roster, this might be something for her to keep in the back of her mind.

Meeting Guys Through Mutual Friends

Meeting someone is a whole lot easier if someone's around to do the introductions. Get to know lots of people on campus, and develop a strong set of girlfriends. Girls know guys from high school, their classes, their dorms, and everywhere else, and will be happy to introduce their friends to each other.

Meeting Guys on All-Male Campuses

Looking for a place with a high male-to-female ratio? If there's an all-male college or campus nearby, look no further. Look for events (including parties, although proceed with caution) on these campuses where women are invited, and there's a good chance that there will be some guys there looking to meet someone. Sometimes there are opportunities to take classes on these campuses, and this is another great way to see who's available.

Meeting Guys at Campus Religious Organizations

True, "meeting a nice guy at church" (or synagogue, or mosque, etc.) is a cliche. Nonetheless, it works. Campus religious organizations are a great way for students to explore their spirituality, find like-minded people , and make friends. It also is a great way to find potential dates. Yes, some of these organizations have kind of a "meet market" atmosphere, but sometimes that can be a good thing.

Meeting Guys at Campus Clubs

Just as religious organizations offer great opportunities to meet guys who have similar interests, so do other campus organizations and clubs. Students should find things they like to do, and friendships (and boyfriends) will follow.

Meeting Guys on Online Dating Sites for College Students

In this area, students should proceed with caution, as there are plenty of creepy people online. When meeting someone for the first time, it's always important to do it in a public place and to use common sense when it comes to safety. Nonetheless, dating online has become very mainstream, and there are lots of great (normal) guys out there, so give it a try.

Dating on a College Campus

It's not hard to meet someone on a college campus, but it can be tricky to find the right person. Be patient and keep an eye out for great guys in everyday place, like in classes, clubs, and among mutual friends. Nice guys are out there!
